What I ate today on the Raw Ketogenic Diet

The Raw Keto Diet is a very delicious raw high fat diet. Here’s what I ate today:

Breakfast:

  • Smoothie Bowl:
    • Ingredients: Raw coconut meat, spinach, avocado, raspberries, chia seeds and stevia.
    • Optional: Add a tablespoon of MCT oil for extra ketone production.
    • Toppings: Chopped nuts, seeds, and a sprinkle of unsweetened coconut flakes.

Lunch:

  • Zucchini Noodles with Avocado Pesto:
    • Ingredients: Spiralized zucchini noodles, cherry tomatoes, raw avocado pesto (avocado, basil, garlic, olive oil).
    • Optional: Add raw shredded coconut on top for added flavor and texture.

Snack:

  • Raw Almonds and Coconut Chips:
    • A handful of raw almonds and coconut chips for a satisfying and crunchy snack.

Dinner:

  • Raw Cauliflower and Broccoli Salad:
    • Ingredients: Raw cauliflower and broccoli florets, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices.
    • Dressing: Olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
    • Optional: Toss in some raw pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds.

Dessert:

  • Avocado Chocolate Mousse:
    • Ingredients: Ripe avocado, raw cacao powder, almond milk, a touch of stevia or monk fruit for sweetness.
    • Blend until smooth and refrigerate before serving.

Beverages:

  • Coconut Water:
    • Stay hydrated with fresh coconut water.

Notes:

  • Make sure the vegetables and fruits you choose are raw.
  • Use cold-pressed oils like extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil for dressings.
  • Consider adding variety by incorporating other raw, low-carb vegetables and leafy greens.
  • Monitor your intake of protein and carbohydrates to maintain a ketogenic state.
